LDSS 2026/27: up to £1,540 per learner for the Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate
The Learning and Development Support Scheme has up to £10m for 2026/27, including up to £1,540 per learner for the Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate.

The Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS) has up to £10 million for 2026/27 to help employers pay for eligible courses and qualifications. That includes up to £1,540 per learner for the new Ofqual-regulated Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate. To claim, your ASC-WDS (Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set) return must be complete.
What to do now:
- Make sure your ASC-WDS record is complete and up to date.
- Read the claim guidance on GOV.UK.
- Identify which staff would benefit from the Level 2 certificate this year.
